Case #01

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri, US

ARCHITECT: Steven Holl Architects

At the meeting between old and new, as at the expansion of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, there are strict requirements on the details. To perform without being seen was the keywords for the extremely advanced project. With its irregular shapes and crossings between walls and ceiling, traditionally suspended sound absorption was excluded. Fellert provided the architect with the possibilities he searched for and we were able to follow our motto: “we are simply the best when we are not visible”.
