Architect: Robert A.M. Stern Architects
The architects’ aim with this building, constructed in solid materials such as glass and concrete, was to create a contrasting background to the amazing collection of woven artworks. The museum was really a challenge for us since the customer whished for a modern building where a large group of people daily comes and goes without foregoing the design aesthetic, in addition, creating a calm and intimate environment for the visitors.
